Livre d'Or

My first knitting project was a little skull-cap, and I had a lot of fun with it. But that was a couple of years back, and I failed to get started again on the next project. ghoti_mhic_uait found me a pattern for a Möbius scarf, which is cool but relatively simple for my second ever project, and helped me to buy pretty purple wool and circular needles. But there is a complicated cast-on which I really struggled to learn from the video tutorial, so I got stalled for, um, years.

This weekend I actually got started again! ( learning physical skills )
